Editorial Progress and Acceptance Rate

All manuscripts are given editorial staff review upon receipt to determine appropriateness relative to the scope and style of the journal. Works determined not to be appropriate for further consideration are returned; and, works determined to be appropriate for publication consideration are submitted for blind reviews by professional scholars judged competent to provide one of the following recommendations: Accept; conditional accept, contingent upon major revisions; reject and resubmit; or reject. Executive Editors consider all recommendations and forward a decision to Managing Editors who inform authors of next steps in the publication process.
